The main task of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine is to protect competition, and its advocacy is one of the effective ways to raise awareness of the benefits of a competitive environment and fair business.
OECD-GVH Regional Centre for Competition in Budapest (OECD-GVH) is implementing a video project "Key Competition Issues Clarified in Minutes". The purpose of the project is to tell about the main topics related to the activities of competition authorities worldwide.
The videos are based on information from OECD training webinars regarding the instruments used by foreign competition authorities in their activities, best practices in the field of competition law enforcement and mechanisms for implementation of competition policy in EU countries. The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine provided the Ukrainian version of subtitles for these videos.
There are four training videos currently available on the OECD YouTube channel
The OECD-GVH plans to continue a series of training videos to reveal all the main aspects of the activities of competition authorities.
For reference: OECD-GVH Regional Centre for Competition in Budapest (OECD - GVH) was established by the Gazdasági Versenyhivatal (GVH, Hungarian Competition Authority) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The OECD - GVH strengthens the institutional capacity of competition authorities and provides recommendations regarding competition policy - conducts numerous seminars, workshops and implements training programs for employees of competition authorities and other governmental agencies in South-Eastern, Eastern and Central Europe.
For many years, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, in cooperation with the OECD-GVH, exchanged non-confidential information with other European competition authorities and provided articles to the OECD-GVH Competition Policy in Eastern Europe and Central Asia newsletter.
